Fulton County to get graded on its performance
Fulton County Commissioner Lynne Riley has directed a team of internal auditors to devise a grading system to see how the county is performing. "Performance auditing increases government accountability to the public and implementation of audit recommendations often results in reduced costs, increased revenue, and improved services," Riley wrote in a prepared statement. As envisioned, the performance audit will gauge the efficiency, effectiveness and economy of various county departments and programs.
