Cop arrested for helping bank robber
An East Point police officer was being held without bond in the Fulton County Jail on Friday for allegedly providing information to a man wanted in a string of bank robberies. Officer Nicole Drane, 33, was arrested Thursday, and charged with 18 felony counts, including multiple counts of hindering the apprehension and punishment of a criminal, unauthorized disclosure of criminal history, bribery and violating her oath of office. Drane is accused of helping Malik Dillard, a suspect in 10 bank robberies along the East coast.
